The Role

Veeva Systems is a leader in cloud-based software for the global life sciences industry. We're looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Technical Consultant to join our Professional Services team in Budapest. You'll work with strategic key accounts across the EMEA region, leading technical architecture and design on the powerful Veeva Vault CRM platform.
What You'll DoAs a Senior Technical Consultant, you will be more than a developer: you will be a technical leader and a trusted advisor. You'll spend your days architecting and designing end-to-end solutions, translating complex customer needs into scalable and feasible technical designs. You'll guide project teams, mentor developers, and ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions that align with the platform's capabilities and best practices. Your work will be a mix of:Solution Architecture & Design (50%): Lead the technical design of end-to-end solutions, leveraging your expertise in the Veeva Vault platform and its Java SDKClient Advisory & Analysis (30%): Understand complex client requirements and articulate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences Technical Oversight & Project Management (20%): Guide and mentor development teams, ensuring projects are delivered successfully and meet high-quality standardsRequirements5+ years of experience in designing and implementing enterprise software solutions, with a strong background in a technical architect, solution designer, or lead developer roleA proven ability to translate complex business requirements into clear, scalable technical specificationsStrong experience with modern web technologies and REST APIs, along with a solid command of Java, JavaScript, and SQLFull lifecycle software implementation experience, especially with enterprise-class CRM or platform applicationsExcellent communication skills, with the ability to confidently present technical solutions to clients and stakeholdersA degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experienceAn EU work permit is required#LI-Remote
