The Role
Veeva’s Security team is looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to oversee multiple projects deploying cyber security systems, tracking scheduled work, and reporting project status and metrics to both security and product teams. This position requires someone with a technical background that can assist with technical system reviews and validation efforts to ensure systems are functioning per the project requirements. The technical program manager will provide coordination between various security, IT, operations, and engineering teams to ensure success.
What You'll DoResponsible for the coordination and reporting of multiple security projects (SAST, SCA, DAST, Vulnerability Management)Builds and maintains working relationships within security and with internal IT/product teams, and vendorsPresent vulnerability metrics and health to development teamsCreate dashboards and metrics to track SLAs and remediation timelinesScope new projects, create and execute plans for proof of value evaluations with potential new or existing vendorsEnable your project team to focus on solution design, prototyping, configuration, training, and documentationRequirementsBachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology, Computer Science or Management Information Systems6+ years of experience with college coursework or certification such as PMP or Scrum in lieu of a formal degreeScrum or Agile certification or training4+ years in systems and program management4+ years in building workflow maps, project timelines, and trackingAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, charts, etc.)Microsoft Project, Smartsheet’s, JIRA or similar project management softwareUnderstanding of IT systems, security, databases, and enterprise architectureComplex problem-solving and ability to work well under minimal supervisionMust be legally eligible to work in the United States#LI-Remote
