The Opportunity:

Reporting directly to the Financial Compliance Manager, the Senior Financial Compliance Analyst will be responsible for ensuring adherence to Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR) and Segregation of Duties (SoD) standard controls, particularly regarding control documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Internal Control Over Financial Reporting (ICFR) & SoD

  • Control Oversight & Maintenance: Monitor and maintain accurate ICFR control information/descriptions within relevant monitoring tools.

  • Affiliate Support & Expertise: Provide guidance and support to in-scope affiliates on ICFR and SoD processes, control implementation, and change requirements.

  • Testing & Remediation: Actively participate in the planning, coordination, and execution of Global Financial Compliance testing (Operating and Design Effectiveness), including peer testing and self-testing of controls. Coordinate control remediation efforts as applicable.

  • SoD Enforcement: Review new access requests across relevant systems (e.g., SAP S4, P98, RTP) to ensure adequate Segregation of Duties (SoD) is maintained.

  • Monitoring & Mitigation: Manage the weekly Global SoD Dashboard, follow up on conflicts, provide expert support, and ensure periodic review and maintenance of user mitigations.

  • Audit Liaison: Serve as the primary interface between local affiliates and external/internal auditors, as well as Group Financial Compliance, when required.

  • Training & Documentation: Develop and deliver training support to affiliates and control owners, and ensure all Compliance-related checklists, manuals, and procedural documents are current.

Continuous Improvement & Process Enhancement

  • Process Assessment: Engage with affiliates and control owners to understand and identify process improvement opportunities within in-scope business processes.

  • Review & Monitoring: Plan, manage, and execute regular reviews and continuous monitoring of affiliate business processes.

  • Strategic Improvement: Collaborate with the ICFR Compliance Lead/HOD to define and execute key improvement projects, providing recommendations and actively participating in solution provisioning.

  • Reporting: Prepare and review periodic reports and training materials to communicate updates on Internal Controls and Business Improvement projects to affiliates and internal team members.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field and/or professional qualification (CPA, ICAA, CIMA, ACCA).

  • At least 5 years’ relevant experience in financial and process compliance reviews

  • Previous experience with the SAP ERP system

  • Proven experience with Financial process related to Record to Report, Period end Close, CAPEX, Finance Management & Assurance (FMA), Capital and Lease Accounting & Manufacturing and Supply Chain.

  • Experience in supporting  financial compliance program, with demonstrated analytical, organizational and planning skills

  • You should have  experience with a multinational company's compliance service and program, Finance-internal controls management or internal audit function with strong interest in financial compliance. (Shared services)

  • Strong knowledge of finance and accounting principles and practices GAAP or IAS and auditing.

  • You possess the ability to confidently interact with senior business process owners and control owners in the organization​

  • English: High Proficiency in business communication (Spoken, Written, and Reading comprehension)
