Major accountabilities:
With your strong expertise and skill in laboratory operations, you take an important role in defining future manufacturing processes and strategies for bioconjugation projects such as Antibody-Oligonucleotides.
In our labs, you will generate essential synthetic and partly analytical data to evaluate and define the manufacturing processes for bioconjugations providing best possible quality, efficiency and environmental compatibility
As a member of drug substance team, you collaborate closely with our internal and external partners to ensure timely and quality delivery of new oligonucleotide drugs to our patients
Further, he/she provides relevant documentation of experiments and related information in support of filing and patents
He/she also actively maintains and optimizes our lab infrastructure ensuring safe and efficient execution of chemical experiments
Minimum Requirements:
Education:
Minimum requirement is successful completion of a relevant apprenticeship (e.g. Laborant Chemie/ Analytik EFZ or equivalent). Position is also open to applicants with completed BSc. or MSc.
Experience:
In addition the ideal candidate would have the following professional experience:
3-5 years experience in synthesis/ chemical process development is a strong requirement
Proven knowledge in space of bioconjugation or chemical modification of fermentation products, e.g. Antibody-Drug Conjugations or other complex molecular structures is desirable
Advanced knowledge of software and computer tools such as Office package, chromatography data-evaluation software (e.g. Chromeleon) is desirable
Experience in use of SEC chromatography or other relevant analytical techniques is also a benefit
Independent and self-motivated workstyle with team orientation and adequate communication style
Good documentation skills required during execution of experiments and documentation of results
Languages :
Adequate knowledge of English language is required (oral and written), German and other language skills are beneficial.
