We are currently looking for a passionate BIP Analyst – Banking, Insurance and Payroll for our APAC Regional Hub based in Petaling Jaya.

Other Key Responsibilities:

• Operationally hands-on Business Banking, Treasury, Insurance and Payroll close and reporting activities contributing Market’s results.
• Execution of Internal Controls in accordance with GSK Internal Control Finance.
• Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders and other functions(e.g P2P,O2C, FRMC, Stat &Tax) to ensure successful month end close.
• Ensure stakeholders queries are attended to and resolved in a timely, responsible, and proactive manner.
• Propose process improvements on the BIP process.
• Resolve BIP accounting and reporting issues.
• Any ad-hoc request or additional activities as required by LOC and management team.
• Support other team members through knowledge transfer; sharing of resource, knowledge and experience and best practice thereby ensuring quality is maintained.
• Support in projects and other ad-hoc activities:
• Provides support to external and internal audit.

Ideally, we are looking for someone with:

• Degree with Finance / Accounting

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Financial Reporting / Auditing experience including areas on financial accounting, reporting and statutory filing, inter-company transactions, etc.

• Experience in working in Shared Service Centre in financial accounting or audit functions preferably in a multinational environment.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Adaptability to change and working under pressure

• Pro-active, self-motivated and displaying initiative in solving problems

• Actively seeks to improve processes making them more effective and efficient

• Attention to detail, good analytical and strong problem-solving skills

• Ability to plan and manage workload to ensure all key deadlines is met

• SAP experience is an advantage
